Hi All,

Just thought i'd say I bought this software yesterday. Ryan - your code is very nicely done ;)

I've already managed to modify the code to do automatic screenshots :) (based on if there's no thumbnail attached it'll automatically generate one, if not it'll use the user provided one). - I am working on automatic conversion from whatever format in to FLV complete with option water marking. This would be multi-server add on (for an encode cluster). Wondering if anyone would be interested in the video encoding stuff? (Unfortunatly couldn't give it away for free as a lot of work will have gone in to it).

James,

This exactly code is already added into the next version. I'm working on extra admin features of the next version as we speak though.

I'm glad you like my code... :)

Is video encoding on the next version list?

Do you have an eta? (days, weeks, months?) so I know if it's worth my time adding features to the current version or just waiting.

I keep hearing it...

Would it be easy to do?

Basically your server would grab a few files every day from various sources and then your customers scripts would download from your server. Something along those lines.

Just an idea...

Also will you be adding support for remotely hosted files? I imagine that this should be fairly simple...

Thanks.

Yes, and no, it's not as simple as you'd think. :)

OK thanks for pointing that out but it doesn't answer my question regarding usage of remotely linked files.

Would creating asx files and using them work?

Thanks.

OK - I was just asking if you knew when it would be available....

I'm considering buying a license hence wanted to know when this feature would be available...

Thanks.
